大学の卒業研究として、コミュニケーションアート、ソーシャリーエンゲイジドアート、ワークインプログレスの手法から、「組体操」という身体表現を通じてその造形的、美的な可能性について考察。映像・パフォーマンス形式での発表を行った。

 展示会場へステージを作り、その上で”組体操”という行為を完成させる過程で、その人や物が担うそれぞれの役割や、関係性と、その集合体として「何か」の姿を象徴的に可視化していく。、ステージ周辺には、使用した道具、ステージの制作で使用した木材、練習風景を映したビデオを設置、組み体操パフォーマンスと同時に展示した。

As my university graduation research, I explored the sculptural and aesthetic potential of “group gymnastics” as a form of physical expression, drawing from communication art, socially engaged art, and work-in-progress methodologies. I presented my findings through video and performance formats.

 A stage was constructed within the exhibition space. As the act of “group gymnastics” was completed upon this stage, the roles and relationships borne by each person and object, and the collective form of “something” they symbolically embodied, were made visible. Surrounding the stage, props used in the performance, wood used in constructing the stage, and videos capturing practice sessions were displayed, exhibited concurrently with the group gymnastics performance.
